STORMing the FUTURE

Before we can impact the world, our focus point will be to help those in our community, these are the people that are hurt, abused, jobless, misunderstood and unpositioned (The homeless, orphaned, widowed, hungry, and those addicted to various substances ) Our first step is to teach them how to (envision transformation) in there lives. Step 2 will be (Giving up for a Change). We find that change requires action be taken. We want them to understand that you can talk about change, plan to change, but until you are committed to change then change will never happen, etc.. We not only want to impact them internally but externally, also. We will establish a relationship with the local community with emphasis on the following entities: the local Mayor, employment agencies, housing development, and drug treatment programs to fulfill the need of our community in a full circle.

Continuing the Legacy

The History of Deliverance Evangelistic Temple was ordained by God and called into being by Him. The vessel that the Lord chose to bring it forth was the Late Bishop Sandra R. Coston, who responded to the call in December of 1996. The first meeting of Deliverance Evangelistic Temple was held on December 28, 1996, at the home of Elder Lisa Cooper in Norristown, PA. The ministries of D.E.T. all operate in the context of service to God, His people, and the community. Throughout the years, God has allowed us to use our abilities, gifts, and talents to work for Christ.

In the infinite wisdom and greatness of God, He saw fit to call home to Glory, our own dearly Founder and Pillar, Bishop, Sandra R. Coston & Elder Lisa Cooper, Interim Pastor. True women of God, His faithful warriors who fought the good fight of faith, loved God, and preached the Gospel fervently without fear or favor. Truly the loss of our leaders is great, but God is able to carry on the work. The legacy and vision that was birthed for Deliverance Evangelistic Temple shall continue with Gods help as we run with the Spirit of Yeshua. Bishop Benjamin & Pastor Nakia Spencer, Spiritual son & daughter, continue to carry forth the vision written by our founder. We shall take the city by force, One Soul At A Time.

We offer programs like children’s sabbath school and service, summer camp, and other seasonal events to provide kids with a safe and enjoyable space where they can explore and learn about their faith and the world around them. We believe in providing comprehensive and compassionate counseling services to individuals, families and groups. Our certified psychology specialists are equipped to deal with a broad range of emotional and developmental needs, with trained personnel who provide support to those with special needs. We offer one-on-one counseling, couple's therapy, group therapy and family counseling options. Our experienced staff is dedicated to providing a safe, confidential, and respectful environment for all individuals. We strive to make a difference in the community by addressing the spiritual and individual needs of each person, helping them to find hope, peace, and strength.
